Fishing
Report: Ruby supports a Cutthroat and Kokanee fishery.
The size for the Cutthroat is usually about 1 lb. but there are
reports of them reaching to 3 lbs. Spring, fall and winter are the
best months for fishing. Consult your regulations as there are special
restrictions. A spawning channel was constructed in 1968 on the
lake outlet. Ruby is a very popular summer lake providing vacationers
with excellent swimming areas and water skiing. Be sure to visit Fishbc.com
